It all started when…

Ariela was in high school and she would put a sign up sheet for folks to come share Shabbat with her family. She picked up lots of tricks from her parents and is forever grateful. She loved hosting then and she loves hosting now. Aryeh, her lion mate, has been a successful community builder since before college. He not only helped revive a Synagogue, but he also organized a street festival in Jerusalem inspired by our Jewish Heritage. Thank G!d, they met a little over three years ago and have a beautiful daughter, Raizel Chaya. After realizing that they always made enough food for 20 + people and enjoyed having a community space in their home, they somehow came up with the name Beit Ari, The House of Lions! They love hosting events that bring together tradition and creativity, land and text, song and dance. Beit Ari is a space to connect to Judaism, build meaningful relationships and have fun! Rooooooar!
